He has managed to live longer than that, but now be is terminally ill. Sam Simon is 59; he would still have years left to live and make people happy if it was not this terrible disease. The Simpsons creator has spent the last few months making his last wishes, and generously spent his last days. He told the NBC reporter, Maria Shriver, on Monday that he would give his entire fortune, estimated at more than 100 million USD dollars, to charity.
Sam Simon has chosen to give the $ 100 million fortune to thefoundation that bears his name, the Simpsons, which providesfoods to families in need and guide dogs for veterans. Sam Simon is 59 and unmarried; he has no children. He has plenty of reasons to help all organizations he wants. For several years he helped both abandoned dogs and soldiers suffering from post-traumatic stress. It seems to have had passion doing it. “My passion for animals and against theabuse they suffer come from the fact that these creatures who think and feel emotions cannot speakto defend themselves. I think it is my responsibility to speak on their behalf.”
